'unfounded and meaningless post written with intent' ???

could you find the time to please explain the intent of the posters remarks
could you please explain the terms of the Skywater Weebit agreement and what it entails across the agreed time horizon?

that explanation would certainly remove the definition of 'unfounded and meaningless' from your post

Are you aware that the terms of adopting the technology within the Skywater foundry was a revenue negative equation for weebit ...the dollars flow after a client is brought on board from the Skywater customer base and volume production is initiated ....CH repeatedly tries to get this point across...

i.e WBT bore the cost of the process as it is a new technology - this is common and accepted practice within the the semiconductor industry where new materials and processes ( no matter how CMOS friendly) are explicitly funded by the developer of that new technology to mitigate the risk for the adopter.....that is simply the industry reality ( applies to foundries and customers alike)

the previous posters point is extremely valid and contains no intent - the poster is merely expressing the real possibility ( one of many potential scenarios ) of a very common market scenario of buy the rumour sell the news.....very very plausible outcome.

the other reason it was revenue negative adoption also speaks to industry standard practice in that should the adoption / transfer and manufacture process be a success ( the Skywater offering just received by weebit for commercial qualification to commence) weebit then gains volume production access through the skywater customer base and Skywater increase offering and bottomline profitability across is customer base and other geometric manufacturing nodes ....I expect 90nm next for weebit within Skywater

the next foundry to jump off the bridge will be on very similar terms....it is the commercial reality - because this chip is still not qualified in the eyes of industry or the market - it is still a new offering and as such untried and unproven.........ie the Skywater production lot.
it is therefore still new technology and the cost of any further adoption of this tech by customers or foundries will be bourne by weebit as per the Skywater arrangement ....
this is reality ....not pie in the sky fluff ...

Weebit are fully aware of this ...Atiq R is a master of these processes and proceedings ....non one better globally imo ....CH took particular time and made a deliberate point to expressly thank AR for his guidance and expertise when the Skywater deal / agreement dropped - it is his stock in trade and within the weebit management group it is area of specific competence and specialty where these negotiations are undertaken...he has played the tech adoption game several times over his career has a very high success rate.

in light of the reality as it stands within industry adoption models for new technology the poster makes a very real and valid point ...you may not like it ...so what ...its an open forum - buy the rumour sell the news is a very plausible scenario that will play heavily on the SP

it will have no bearing on the quality of the company or its path to revenue - that has been in very capable hands for a very long time.
the weebit offering will ultimately prove to be a very generically applicable technology across multiple product applications and geometric nodes....thats the reason for long term investment strategy with this company....$$$$
