My questions were.
With the introduction of fdsoi into our memory, do we still retain our cost competitiveness to existing nvm (ie flash nor)?
Answer:-Yes, we are very competitive with flash in all technologies and in all nodes. We are backend-of-line vs. flash frontend-of-line and we are much simpler and lower cost to implement as we require much fewer masks and steps in the fab.
and
Given qualification of 28nm fdsoi, is their an opportunity to compete with other existing fdsoi technologies?
Answer:-I don’t quite understand the second question. We already announced 28nm and work on 22nm. These are the 2 key nodes for FDSOI.The fact that we are now focused on FDSOI does not mean we have any issue with other technologies. We are actually talking to other fabs about other technologies now.
