anyway - you're right on the money....global chip companies outside the US ( yet US companies) are still trading in China because they can and recognise the opportunity .......the PR in the US is great and the trillions on offer is certainly gratefully accepted by Intel and the like ......but China is a long way ahead no matter the commentary you may hear

Intel's new US factories are 'Shell' factories to utilise the money being splashed about - PG is right on is game - they won't achieve meaningful production values for 8 to 10 years .....thats the same with all the US based companies in the 'chips Act' dish out - except the tier 2's ....they are putting it into increased capacity as fast as they can.....again why Weebits tier 2 strategy trumps other start up strategies.......

not to mention SiEn - someone should look at the production underway on their 200 / 300mm fab lines ....amazing really in such a short time .
