They emphasised during the webinar; we don’t have the resources to do justice to the qualification of more than one fab at this time. They spoke frequently of a pipeline of deals, rather than biting off several in parallel.
We will never know and can only speculate. However, I don’t think this first deal was jeopardised by the premature release last week. I wouldn't mind betting the extra week was taken up appeasing all the other fabs they have been talking to, and who have to go on the back burner for 12 months. A bit like a job interview where the successful candidate is announced publically before the short listed applicants are notified.
