Buru is an exploration company, its drilling on a new play type, the well had a low COS, simple as that. I personally wanted it drilled because the Canning is massively under-explored and every year that goes by, means less chance that prospects will ever get drilled.
Whether Yatchy got a phone call yesterday arvo or not is going to have no effect on whether there is oil to be discovered.
Its a tough business to be in.
Whatever the outcome, it would seem the rig is now crewed by a top notch team which is a real blessing and hopefully they can be employed again for 2020.
