Joff-I like your style but the chances of going down your path are very close to zero.
Eric wants things sorted in 2018 -and by that I mean I think he wants 3 prospects drilled.
If we went alone and got bowled first ball then the chances of farm-in are greatly diminished given we would drill our best shot.
Far more sensible is to get someone to pay to drill 3 wells and to give them plenty for doing so.
You must remember that Eric is old and will want things resolved while he can still enjoy a big payout.
Better for him to get $300-$500m now when you're alive and kicking then $1b when you're dead.This is all about him and what he wants-we just tag along to the company he controls.
