Righto! Builders use HCL all the time to clean up new brick work.
I was wondering whether intervention had just meant water injection, which BRU had mentioned they would do and get UFW producing instead.
It would certainly be interesting if they got U3 producing along with U5.
BRU have told us that U1 & U2 can produce at 900 bopd each with the ESP's on idle and that UFW could free flow at a rate better than U1 & U2, but some here also speculated at only 500 bopd for UFW.
Eventually they will put ESP's in U4 &U5 - so with the greater reservoir thickness in U4 & U5 one would expect that they would each produce at least at 900 bopd with ESP's on idle. So to my simple mind U1,2,4,5 & UFW or substitute U3 that means about 5x900=4,500 bopd, which easily beats SXY.
I'm in no hurry to see BRU farm out this very promising area of the Canning Basin for oil exploration and production when they are just starting to taste the benefits of the freedom of operation by being able to sole risk this work at the moment. Farming out the gas areas, which will be much more expensive to develop does make sense to me however.
