I think BURU tried to core Ungani 2 but got zero core recovery as the Rock was basically all vugs and therefore great production rates.


Now with this well, hearing that oil is bleeding out of the vugs at surface means to me that we haven't got as well developed reservoir at this location. And it's has more rock hence able to be voted and recovered to surface

Ideally it would be nice to know if they are having any mud losses as that might help us get a handle on the permabillty of the dolomite.

Bottom line

I think there is more likely hood that the reservoir permabillty is poor at this location.
