The oil men should step in here, but I think "operational reasons" has the distinct smell of "low to prognosis", or even worse: "where was it again?"
Not trying to put a dampener on this, to be honest pretty much rank wildcat drill, but I have read a number of times over the years that it is better to be high to prognosis. I don't know the science of this, so it might only be apocryphal-we shall see I guess. The very slow progress seems to indicate the sealing rock is particularly tough, which may mean that seismic interpretation will be thrown off a bit-just spit-balling here.
Anyway, I'm hangin in there to see what happens and have no intention of buying or selling.
