Old News. ! (Lol)..... with all the news about Geoff Wilson trying to “fix” LICs to get the SP trading closer to NTA, it’s a wonder that we haven’t heard more about him and ALF. Although by the time he does decide to make a move, the after all costs NTA is likely to be below $1.00.
For anyone else than JB, you would have to say that the dismal performance was an aberration.
Contrast that with CDM that I bought in May at .58c. And SEC that I bought fairly recently at $1.29.
Both funds have different investment philosophies but both have made significant gains and are still trading at something like 25% disc to NAV. Contrast that with ALF. The sooner something happens the better, and it will certainly free up significant funds for me that have been locked into ALF doing absolutely nothing for far too long.
