    @marketmaker... I couldn’t agree more. He is the CIO, he is the Capo el Capo, I have no problems with the analysts, because they would only be doing what JB wants and following their orders and complying with the investment strategy set out by the CIO. It’s is JBs signature on the quarterly reports and his glowing strategy which has been an abject failure over a number of years, but more importantly during those PRECISE conditions that he set the fund up to make money. He couldn’t make money when the market fell out of bed, and he couldn’t make money on the sudden rise following; and for four long years, he has failed to show any flexibility or any willingness to change his strategy when it has been proven not to work
    Karl Seigerling stuffed up with CDM and it took some time for him to do a Mea Culpa, but to his credit, he has changed his style and philosophies and has obviously listened to someone and the fund is on the up.
    Thats more than you can say for JB and ALF.
    I’d say JB is a very weak link !
