In all seriousness, why has Kevin Rudd not cuts individual tax rates in order to put cash back into each and every working Australian in the attempt to stimulate the economy.
I understand he is trying to stimulate the economy as fast as possible, though by cutting the tax rate for income earners (this is just an example) between 80,001-$150,000 by say 2c for each dollar earn't to 38c in the dollar, it would based on a person earning $100,000 per year:
- put $38.50 per week back in their pocket or $77.00 per fortnight. Each month that would put $153.00 per month and nearly $2000 per year!
At the same time he can pump money into infrastructure etc, but cash bonus' to selected Australia's who are supposedly the ones who are struggling is ridiculous. Are the rest of Australia's not struggling?
