Interesting to watch the reactions to underperformance, @cutty you rate LSF as pretty much the number one fund in the country, however when the had there shocking run a few years back you were just as scathing of them, here is snippet of your many negative LSF posts.
"that would be an understatement... they (LSF) don't deserve to be investing on behalf of anyone... this is beyond a joke Yep, I have lost 60% of all my wealth entrusting these so called managers with my hard earned. I don't even think they would have the courage to meet shareholders in person. They need to ask some serious questions about their own ability and risk management strategies. They seem to shoot from the hip with their investments.. and we are suffering as a result. All this fund has shown is that during boom times they underperform... and during an almighty downfall they underperform."
Investors overreact to variance on time frames that are too short, believing mangers outperforming are geniuses whilst those under performing are useless and have lost their edge.
