It's a great fund with a great manager with very reasonable fees - which feels unusual saying for an active fund.
Unfortunately, the fund went into a very defensive position come covid. Responsible? Yes.
Unfortunately for MFF, the whole world decided to print money to no end - and pump an endless pit of cash into the financial system.
The people who sold out of here - well, recently, did so because the fund is still very much behind the 8 ball unfortunately.
Its always a tall ask to catch up when things have run so hard in the past 18 months or so.
