If they have lost a large amount of water based drilling fluid into the fractures it will compromise the electric logs and make detecting a Gas / Water in particular hard to interpret .
I am not sure what they mean by gas and liquid hydrocarbons to surface .
Was it just a some small amount of gas in the mud and an oil sheen on the surface or did they swab in a bubbly .
If they had taken a kick then they would have reported it .
Comparing 88e wells with this well that has fracture and vuggy permeability and porosity is like comparing Chalk and Cheese .
I have not followed anything about IVZ but it probably is not comparable either .
I don't know why we are even talking so much about IVZ .
However it does have one thing in common with ADX in that the word Discovery has attracted a lot of speculators that know very little about drilling and think that Ramping or Down Ramping can alter the share price in their favour .
