After they run casing they will come back with a smaller rig on a cheaper day rate and plan to deepen the well .
May be some more surprises yet to come .
The deep wells in the Perth basin do not produce pipeline quality gas .
They need very expensive and slow to build gas processing plants before the gas can enter the sales pipeline .
No mention of such a plant being needed by ADX so they must be confident of low CO2 sweet gas .
Does anyone know about the quality of the gas that flowed from Molin 1 ?
A plant to just remove condensate and any water before putting it into a sales pipeline is a relatively inexpensive and quick to build plant but still a bit of money for a micro cap like ADX.
They maybe able to get some soft loan to build the pipeline and plant from the Austrian government to supply much needed replacement for Russian gas .
The flow rate in October will be a make or break for this gas field .
It will possibly make ADX but will not break them because there is the oil program and a lot more oil and gas prospects on their exploration list .
