Yep
They don't think they got flows from upper section ( claim- their assumption ) so yes using a couple of packers to isolate below section from above is simple and let it flow above or even stimulate it. May take a few tried moving string up a meter at a time and isolating 4m at a time seeing what flows and it easier than pulling strings to achieve same what comes to surface. Put a MDT down after it is clean if there is shows or they need more info on structure .
