Gas production could actually happen within 2-3 years because Austria is much more efficient than a lot of countries around the world and the fact that Gas is majorly needed since they rely too heavily on Russian gas, one might even think that within 2 years was possible if the govt was motivated enough.
Oil cashflow should help things tick along for the time being, which mind you they are looking at increase the oil production over time.
