Small producer / explorers are getting a huge kicking on the ASX at the moment .
It is as if all oil and gas use will end in just a few years time and reserves will become stranded assets .
The reality is that both are at all time highs and increases will continue especially for gas for many years yet .

Very low investment levels mean better risk / return metrics for those brave enough to take the bet .
A big discovery here will be transformable and a dry hole will be a major set back but the set back would not be fatal .
It would be just reload and get on with the program .
