The bigger picture is to try to sell direct to big industrials rather than the grid, in the hope of getting a premium to the grid price. I'm not sure why industrials would want to do that unless there are local grid supply issues which are too hard or expensive to fix in other ways. Usually they want a price for bulk which is a substantial discount off grid. The downside is the Province might re-negotiate the original tender contract to get a bigger slice for themselves. I guess we'll see when a PPA is on the table.
