Anyone done any work on what these assets might be worth in the used ship market? Basically a 50% discount to NTA – if the book values are realistic. Balance sheet is pretty clean. Hard to ignore, but this company has been a basket case from the day it listed. Shipping more generally is having a bit of squeeze on supplying new ships. Not sure if this will flow through to WLD.
Have traded this in the past when they had pricing and utilisation in their favour. Not one to own. Genuinely surprised that this company existed in private hands for decades and seemingly made the founder quite well off. It's listed life wouldn't suggest that outcome.
