Which begs the question why invest in WLD in the first place? Did you leave because of ethical dilemma or SP freefall? Not having a go by the way. I think it's an interesting point. The market is a Darwinian environment. We invest to make money (well perhaps not with Wellard...starting to see it more as a charitable donation about now...) should we limit ourselves to investing only in Companies that we individually believe fit our ethical profile? Very limiting. If we leave it to other money managers to invest on our behalf are we still not guilty of breaching our own ethical codes?...
Hmmmmm...know I personally struggle with this issue at times...
