Wellnex's medicinal cannabis range 'Wellness Life' will finally launch on July 1st, created and developed through their joint venture with both Chemist Warehouse & OneLife Botanicals.
Chemist Warehouse will retain a 10% equity stake in the joint venture, initially launching 5 of the current 'best selling' products to the market through Chemist Warehouse stores before expanding their distribution channel through other pharmaceutical networks, increasing both their market reach and creating a larger footprint in the ever growing medicinal cannabis market in Australia.
The biggest takeaway of this announcement (at least for myself) is the collaboration with InstantConsult, a Telehealth provider that is already affiliated with Chemist Warehouse, who will take appointments and be able to prescribe the Wellness Life products to those who are eligible. They have completed over 750,000+ consultations in their 6 years of operating.
Being a medicinal cannabis patient myself, the initial process of filtering through the plethora of providers out there with a lot of scammers & Disallowed salesmen in amongst them, before finding a reputable company was frustrating in itself.
With Chemist Warehouse behind this venture and offering their product range through their own stores, it'll create a much more streamlined process for both new & existing customers to either swap to Wellness Life or have their initial consult with InstantConsult (obviously affiliated with Chemist Warehouse as mentioned), taking away any doubts/queries given the household name and reputation they have.
With the medicinal cannabis market tipped to be worth over $500m AUD this year and growing each year forward, this product launch through Australia's largest chemist chain has come at the right time, with Wellnex coming good on their promises for both growth and expansion.
