Interesting. Seems, IMO, to be a good deal for shareholders. WES management have a good record of creating good, long term returns. So a small increase in the bid price is a sound possibility. If, as is my case, you own both WES and API, then this looks like a rare win-win situation - realise a gain on API and retain, albeit diluted within WES, future EPS from API.
