Yes I think when I first looked at it I also had concerns about how easily people would be able to get data point sets etc but it looks eminently more shareable now - I would guess because the user base is scaling up.

Fair enough re the open source software, though I suspect many will argue without a name to compare to then your claim is pretty difficult to care much about for now. It's a little like saying "I have a better car than yours, but I won't say what it is, but TRUST me, it's better"

I guess one bigger question I would put to you is that are you not concerned about dependency as a business on an opensource solution? That is a large risk as open source projects are notorious for falling by the wayside or being changed over time into something that might become incompatible with your workflow? At least Pointerra as a supplier gives you clarity over their product scope, better support and visibility into their ability to be a going concern?
