I don't know how the market would price in a mine closure. Its impossible to know that. My point is the price would drop.
Do you think people bidding up the price today would happily do so if the company released an announcement this morning confirming mining operations were indefinitely suspended? No way.
Judging by the conversation here many people simply refuse to acknowledge mine closure as a possibility, so it makes no sense to say the risk is already fully baked into the share price.
