krge, it sounds like you are counting on the Burkina government (as well as WAF management) to put gold production ahead of human life, but I am not sure they will. The government has closed the airport, and I understand movements to and from WAF's site are now restricted. This is a good thing for protecting workers and the local communities where most of the workers live, but I'm not sure how long the mine can operate with increasing restrictions. I'm not saying the sky is falling for WAF, just looking at some near-term scenarios.
Also in the news (pardon me if it has already been reported here), Burkina's minister of mines was tested positive for the virus after returning from PDAC in Toronto (where there were some known cases). And now three other ministers have tested positive.
