Free - I think your discussion is very pertinent, although for now, most on HC seem to brush off the topic, yet... mines are closing all over the world, because, their governments mandate it (or... some big miners are doing it to protect the locals, which they need to have on side, when things improve). While it would seem WAF is about as prepared as any operation can be, I do feel there is only a small chance that WAF would have to shut, or as a minimum, see reduced operations. I know in Australia, no mine has closed, because last night Scomo declared 'all jobs are essential jobs', except for all the ones that exist at businesses he just forced to close.....

I personally have tried to only hold producers that, worst case, did need to have a short shut down, or reduction in production, and have the cash and ability to meet hedges.... I may indeed miss the bigger gains, but I am trying hard to protect my capital.
