Sorry if I missed something, but where did you read they wouldn't be using DD holes to test the depth?? I have always assumed they would be testing the depth with diamond, and obviously a spaced RC campaign too. They've said they're intending on testing the depth extent of Luni and P2 and I would assume that would need DD holes.
