The below snippet is probably the biggest highlight for me on the announcement, ive put the below passage in a simplified format to make it easier for people like my self to understand.



Mineralized Interval Deeper Than Usual: The mineralized rock layer (which likely contains valuable minerals) is found deeper underground than what is typically observed in other parts of the region.

Passive Seismic Model: A passive seismic model is being used to understand the geological structure. It suggests that there are two distinct layers (horizons) in the ground, and they are vertically offset from each other.

Offset Mechanism: The reason for this vertical offset is believed to be a fault in the ground that runs in an east-west direction. Drillhole 042, while intersecting the upper horizon, does not reach the deeper horizon. Similarly, other drillholes (LURC23-030, 031, and 041) located above the deeper boundary do not reach it either.

Similar Observations Elsewhere: In other drillholes, such as LURC23-015 and 078, a similar deeper horizon is observed. This suggests that the offset caused by the east-west fault may be occurring in the southeastern part of Luni as well.

Further Exploration: The company is planning to conduct additional reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling in the southeastern area to investigate the possibility of finding valuable mineralization in this deeper part of the target zone. Essentially, they are exploring whether the deeper layers might contain valuable minerals worth mining.
