Surprisingly little activity at Luni over the last 10 days. In fact all disturbances since the team came back appear to have been on pre-existing sites.
Over these 10 days only 3 sites were active in the NE with minimal visible changes from 23-28 April. Diamond rigs on deeper holes??
Summary on Google Earth to 28th
Three yellow hexagons sites of interpreted activity.
6 sites pending assays (White hex with magenta core)
Orange squares some of the diamond drill sites with no assays reported. May be more or (less likely) less of these.
blue and white circles various phases of reported assays.
Red open circles latest batch reported leaving only one ?RC hole in the NE not assayed.
Green circles prepared sites that will keep rigs busy for quite awhile if they keep plodding away at systematic infill.
Suspect the recent results will lead to some infill in the SE in the not too distant future.
Looks like they are having another go at site RC102 - lower right hole
=============
The lack of activity may give ENR the chance to "borrow" earth moving gear to set up tracks in their far east - Perce and Wordie plus others north of Luni. Believe this happened last year when WA1 had limited needs for the machine(s).

Regionally:
Rincon with Luni look alike(s). Maybe the drill will find carbonatites though previous very wide spaced aircore (1 Km) led to this 2011 comment .
Carbonatites were a surprise at P2 and Luni 2 years ago so maybe along the Central Australian Suture (CAS) there will be another patch given the deep seated nature of this structure.
LYN will find out how deep the Murraba basin and Hidden Be cover is when testing their grav/mag targets at Stansmore.

A personal anecdote from Uranium exploration in Northern Saskatchewan.
Bear island was a 1 Km dot in the middle of lake Athabasca where a couple of hundred relatively high grade U boulders were found on the shores. Geophysics processed the magnetics and said 200m to basement. The drillers pulled out at 700m with the fast breaking up of the ice they were drill from threatened safety. The company had sent me to the island to try hammer seismic. 7 Kg sledge hammer and a steel plate in lieu of explosives etc. Results didn't show basement!! A good week on a holiday island.
