Clear pass 5 days after the above and extension preparation is progressing in a similar pattern to the initial Luni work. Mostly 400m spaced lines with holes at 100m spacings (so far). One site may have been drilled just east of 2023 hole 107 (39m @ 1.5%).
Preparation for later(?) infill 200m lines has been done for the first kilometer from previous work. Another 600m is available if results warrant.
Red line an early interpretation of possible carbonatite contact.
As above with a data dump
Green mineralisation appears to be constrained within more dyke like zones than the main part of Luni.
Similar to the NW extensions of Luni towards Emily perhaps.
There has been enough drilling done to show this (narrow zones) is probably a reality where work has been done away from central Luni.
Some highlight assays for the red outlined area just north of WA1's recent preparations include:
ENR RC hole 489 10m @ 4.2% from 57m
ENR RC hole 500 10m @ 4.3% from 47m which is 400m east of 489.
This section is from follow up 2024 drilling between these two holes.
Typical of many ENR zones. Nice grades, reasonable to excellent strike extent but limited NS width. Depth likely to be similar to WA1 in Luni with high grade in the weathered profile and potential for irregular grades at depth.
This 'competitor' data is given to show what might eventuate from these eastern extensions by WA1.
IMO the eastern margin of Luni will be outlined with a marginal phase extending up to Green.
This marginal phase is not small, but so far appears to be zoned in some way with perhaps two phases carrying higher grade.
Back of the envelope for a lower cutoff at Green came in at 31 Mt at 1% Nbx from 6 separate zones. As with Luni there would be a higher grade component around 20% of this.
PS I no longer hold ENR but retain a strong interest in the overall area.
A pity, in some ways, that the mineralisation has been split along near random tenement lines based on IOCG copper gold targets! Such is life and exploration.
======
Source data for the above.
Detail for recent work 18-23 May:
Size of circles shows level of certainty for interp of drilling.
Some activity ongoing in the main eastern area - to be expected but unless it is "material" I'll take it as infill as usual and beyond what I really am interested - exploration extensions.
