After nearly a month there was a clear sentinel satellite image yesterday. Taken before the afternoon cloud build up happened....

There has been a lot of activity over the month. As far as I can tell only 4 new sites have been prepared in the SW Luni area (mea culpa not SE area as used in the previous post) with a range of disturbances at sites known to the end of October. Drilling at these latter is summarised in the latest announcement as holes completed to the date of report preparation.

Of the relatively definite 4 new sites I suspect only 1 or two have been drilled. Similarly other sentinel interpreted site preparations are probably still awaiting a visit from a rig.

The August high resolution image shows activity to that date which includes sites that have been rehabilitated (R). [I suspect some of the recent activity involves rehab work as shown below and probably at RC23-50 to the west]
Mix of vertical and inclined holes (mainly earlier holes and DD19)

The intersections shown are ONLY the high grade ones (rounded numbers) and do have significant halo mineralisation in most cases.
Easy to see why this (and surrounding) area was targeted for detail infill.

Depth contours suggest a corresponding trend WNW-ESE with shallower depths in the west.


Lots more drilling to come with some already done and probably on way to the Lab.
N and S margins likely broadly defined but need confirmation and fine tuning.

Eastern Luni

The RC drilling completed around the X (W, S, SE) is shown in the recent announcement.
Some sentinel interpreted sites may have been drilled post the announcement - not apparent from these images.

Summary

One reason for the GE image at SW Luni was to show what rehab sites look like post the work.
Sumps infilled, sample bags removes, drill pad erased and "raked" over, perhaps even some seeding done these days with local flora.
The large patches (R) on the eastern margin may represent such rehab with others not so obvious.

Since much of the area may ultimately become a large open pit such work is perhaps unnecessary. Not certain that mining will happen so need to follow regulations on environmental clean up. Looks like many holes up to RC~~100 from 2023 may have seen rehab.

Lots of apparent and real activity over the last month in this area.

Did not see any drill, or other activity south of Emily. [Only possible rehab at RC23-50].
