I don't think it was related to the recent tree shake as it doesn't seem like the sort of thing you could or would want to rush. It seems more a strategic move tied to the MRE issue. The quarterly activities report ann back in April flagged that the testing was underway (snip below) but did have a general note that it would take approx 5 months from them hence an expectation it would come after the MRE. Might be a case of 'under promise and over deliver' in terms of the timing and hasn't it worked perfectly. They probably always targeted getting preliminary results for the MRE timing given how crucial it is.
