LST123, just as an aside to your post I read this week in the Courier Mail an article talking about fires caused by Li-ion batteries. There was something like 127 fires just in Queensland last fin year and something like 61 so far this fin year. Mostly it is batteries of e-scooters and e-bikes exploding and this can happen days after being charged due to the enormous amount of energy these batteries hold.

i can only imagine the incidence of fire will increase with the ongoing e-evolution. Now public awareness of the issue is rising as such articles appear in mainstream media. Of course, as we already know niobium is the magic bullet that will remedy the problem. I would not be surprised if there is eventually legislation that batteries must be niobium based.
