People love creating fear when a potentially great announcement drops. Everyone always tries to read between the lines when SP fluctuates.
Leads to panic selling to the very people who are making the price to drop, for this very reason.
Announcement has potential to significantly impact SP in the coming months. People who don't care about the short term noise and can see this, will be smart enough to be taking advantage of this dip in price. Always smart to go with the market movers.
Unfortunately the market is geared to favor those that have significant wealth. Us retail investors do not have that liquidity.
Would not be surprised if this ends flat by the end of the day.
