My understanding is the 4-acid digest originally used (when they were targeting IOCG targets) may have been under-reporting the Nb grades as some samples failed to reach the upper detection limits for Nb and trigger over limit analyses. I think the more accurate lithium borate fusion method is better at picking up the upper detection limits for Nb and is therefore able to more accurate record grades, which you can plainly see in the broader total depth grade since the re-assaying of the 1m splits. Take LURC003, which is now a total 176m @ 0.48% instead of 172m @ 0.27%.
LURC001 has that +3% hit from 167m, how that plays into a resource drill out I'm unsure, but it sure is high. Depends how big the resource is towards surface I suppose and whether that's the easiest play. Nice to have both options on the table. 167m isn't overly deep either IMO.
