Incorrect to assume the met is going to be similar just because of proximity. ITM got poor met work (10-20% extraction with H2SO4) when other clay deposits in the area were shown to be ionic absorbed REEs (can be leached with ammonium sulfate). REE deposits are as much about exploration as they are about chemistry.
So I'd much rather be WC1 with years of R and D on met work than OD6 who are still in exploration stage and are yet to go through the complexities of the met work.
TLDR WC1 way more advanced for a quarter of the MC.
