I'm married with 2 kids I just don't see the value in leaving it to grow for no end my reason for investing is to grow wealthy to live well later on pay down debt and have a stress free life anything left the boys can share but I don't expect anything from my parents and the thought of them not doing things because they want to leave me a legacy would not sit well
