Sure can, this was expect'd as per their offset well at WE-1 & the formation top in my view appears to have come in slightly deeper. They had the same gas peak, drill-breaks at WE-1 and had done a DST which showed it to b tight formation back in 1990.

Basically once they got the drill break which is an indication of a soft sand, they have to wait for rock cuttings that come back to surface via the drilling mud alongwith formation gas that gets analysed via the Gas Chromatograph & a total gas detector. The GC gave them the gas compo, ie 98% C1, but someone forgot to mention the units of Gas in the ASX update. For safety reasons, they were flaring off the gas. And to keep the well in check, they will increase the mud weight & drill on with a slightly heavy mud as mentioned in the update.

Once they drill the next 113m to 4230m and run WL Logs they'll have definitive data to infer the porosity, permeability & the Net gas pay (metres intersected) for the Wagina Formation. And then repeat for the Kingia & HCS.

Atleast its good to see gas flaring, but safety matters more hence the heavy Mudwt from here on to keep the well under control.
Std Ops procedure, as they still have a long way to go till TD but the initial signs look good.
    Hope this helps.
