Just had a thought on possible reason behind sell off today. Is it possible that the market had read the announcement as STX losing the gas sale commitment from CSBP and therefore taken today's announcement as a negative? I just can't imagine Macca report having that much of an impact. Also, Macca's legal disclosure shows it is net long.
