    It maybe Mitsui link in the chain here, they will supply LNG to Japan, part of securing economic security and prosperity and power for their own Nation as well as suppling the WA under the reservation policy.

    A Chinese state owned company was the first bidder for AWE then came Mineral resources and Mitsui, I doubt the Japanese would have been to keen on a China state owned company securing their energy security at their expense.

    My opinion only at my add to the above.

    Having Waitsia gas marked for export, compounding by delays with Scarborough and Browse, their come's Strike's opportunity to supply the domestic market. With APA latest announcement with pipeline South, Strike are starting to line up their ducks.
