I've been involved in 6 large scale corporate M&A and divestment projects (none in oil in gas though) and i've noticed that Street Talk is kinda in the vicinity in terms of the rumours (as they usual get a hold of a blabber mouth who cant resist talking to somebody) but i have to admit on several occasions the reported rumoured players and the transaction details have been a bit off...so like any rumour/gossip forum look at it with your eyes wide open and don't always believe everything you read (but I have also said in the past that i personally believe that STX will have 1 more crack at WGO and would love if it happened only if the conditions were reasonably fair for all)
