The CEO of the mining services/explosives company that placed a an appeal to the Environmental approval on some trumped up charge without ever wanting to talk or meet or resolve with operator........WAS THE FORMER COO OF (you guessed it) DRD!
DRD have expressed interest in takeover talks once mining rights are issued.

The share manipulation has been evident in the last month. Crazy at market chomps at the buy side when 5% higher price was available by joining the sell queue and waiting half an hour...
Today they must have gone fishing because they got a bot to do the job.

The only reason I can think of that anyone would want this to remain undervalued is if they were to make a takeover offer after mining rights you would want to keep the price down before rights are issued. They want the price to run from 3c to 5c on MR not 5c to 9c so they can make $150 million offer instead of a 200 million offer.

The only way you can do this is if you have a crapload of shares to manipulate with. DRD have craploads.

Their mate, customer and former leader puts in a frivolous appeal, DRD sell millions of shares on announcement which cause a 45% drop from the previous weeks high, then probably lead the charge back by restocking at 1.5 and 1.6. This puts uncertainty in the market and makes it look a lot more risky than it really is....

All really cheap and successful strategies to save 50 million at the back end. Todays bot (DRD2)spent 12k, WWI was heading for a 2.7c close but 12k kept it at 2.4c....

I hope I am wrong because if I am right than GT is on the mark and the share price will not multiply until mining rights are issued, and they will probably up the ante at that point and manipulate harder to underwhelm the market with the growth that announcement provides........so shareholders are more likely to be happy with a low ball offer....

I'll take the tin foil hat off now!

you must be talking in Rand for DRD cap as they are less than 2bill AUD ..I do agree they will look to either takeover the project or the company ..DRD Gold of course are 51% controlled by the 11bill+ cap AUD Sibanye Stillwater ..

also dan Pretorius(DRD CEO)stepped down from WWI mgmt back in April ... not wanting any conflict of interests when they attempt to get WWI on the cheap ... not many potential 12Moz gold projects so close to plant s the world ??
