My take on West Wylong largely agrees with Liberty. I think of is as right suburb, right street, and now looking for the right house. The general geophysics and geochemistry show there are intrusive "porphyry" systems present. Finding the systems is the first step then finding a resource inside the system comes next. It took tens of drill holes to find other big deposits once it was realised there was a porphyry environment. Note they have 2 targets close together. Porphyries do not occur in isolation and it was this realisation that encouraged Newcrest to pursue the marginal Cadia Hill deposit then finding Ridgeway and Cadia East.
