WMT only have to pay $1.25mil to grab a variety of advanced gold assets, a very small bet for a sector that is only growing in strength, they have pulled off a very good deal considering gold is currently at US$943, as for top of the gold market, far from it imo, investors are now looking at better oppertunites to earn interest on there cash, as having money in the bank is earning next to nothing & will only get worse as interest rates continue to go down, $1000+ will come & those exposed to gold either producing or exploring will benefit imo.
time will tell, im happy with WMT announcement today though I would like to see more adavanced gold aquisitions.
