These are big changes.

Well I am glad Norregaard is not going to become CEO of WGX, but his position of CEO of ACM means he gets extra money for continuing to do the same job he is currently doing.  Norregaard was not a success at his previous two CEO gigs.  Essentially WGX will be paying the bills for two CEOs.

Peter Cook looked to me to be having some health problems when he delivered the presentation at the recent Denver Gold Forum meeting - it may have been a short term issue or something more serious.  He will stay in the background as Executive Chairman and later as non-executive Chairman to steer the ship from behind the throne, I suppose.

I know nothing about Anthony Buckingham's past success/failures.  Has worked as a mining engineer for around 20 years, it seems - Normandy, Newmont, AngloGold, Avoca, and Metals Ex/Westgold, from LinkedIn

It would not surprise me if WGX gets merged (or taken over) with another goldie soonish.
