Interesting timing for the changes in management. I think that Westgold's journey has been a real rollercoaster and perhaps it is a good time that Peter takes a break and retire. He can say that he ended on a good note. Not many top executives can leave with some vindication of their efforts, or a stroke of good luck or both. Having invested with WGX for almost 3 years, I had at certain times looked to smash my fist into a wall seeing what was going on with the company's operational performance and stock price movements. However, since the Big Bell mine has been commissioned, I have seen that they are indeed turning a corner. Indeed with mining companies, capital development phases are periods where you can either sit through it and grit your teeth or you sit out of it and risk missing the boat when the tide turns.

That being said, Westgold is clearly now very much in the game to be a mid-tier mining company to keep an eye out. I am glad I jumped in to grab more at the start of this year, but not quite skillful enough to grab it when it was below $1. Those who did, hats off to you.
