(did they give a price target and estimate of production for the next few years?)
Totally agree about a "big step forward". I would still like to see WGX look at having an open pit source of ore for Bluebird (as there are so many old open pits in the surrounds, that at current POG, would surely be profitable to cuttback..... but... perhaps still not quite versus the 4mt sitting at the Tuckabianna plant they have available.. At 1.2mtpa, Bluebird-South Junction will provide just over 104k p.a at full stretch (though recoveries will pare that back to around 93k ounces.
Lets do some simple and very....... broad math, early in CY25, WGX could be producing: 200k p.a from Beta/Higgins. 93k from Bluebird. 90k Big Bell + Deeps 45k from Great Fingall 30k Fender TOTAL: 458k..... (after recoveries) and hopefully I am being conservative.
Not a big stretch to bring on any of the following options to push WGX over the 500k p.a production profile....
For me, now it's all about execution. The drill bit success is just a bonus.
