Nice deal for WGX holders, who get around 1 share in TON for each of their WGX shares once the distribution is completed.
TON ended the day up 12% on the day at 11 cents. WGX up 10.5 cents, 6.8%.
The announcement come out after the ASX closed trading for the day. I wonder if those in the know about the deal pushed up the shares of both companies today. I will never know for sure.
WGX's share price will now be linked to some extent with TON's share price movements until the TON shares are distributed, in addition to all the factors influencing WGX's gold mining operations.
Cookie Wookie done some good for his shareholders, I think.
